Stirling Salvers 2025 Rules

Players should ensure they have read the SWG Competition Rules and Guidelines, particularly section G15 Dates offered & G18g availability for final.

Stirling Salvers Rules and Conditions (SS= Stirling Salvers)

SS1. A scratch foursomes match play Competition played for annually.

SS2. Players entering must be a member of a Club affiliated to SWG or be an associate or individual member of SWG.

SS3. No substitutions will be allowed once the first round has been played.

SS4. The ‘Home’ Team Captain/Player(s) must offer at least three dates and no more than two dates in a seven day period. This must be done by the contact date on the draw sheet, otherwise the opponent(s) may claim ‘Home’ advantage. Where a player is a member of two clubs or a pair are from different clubs (in the Stirling Salver or 4BBB), they may offer dates at either club. However, in a given round all dates must be at the same club. Whilst it is the responsibility of the Home Team Captain/Player to offer dates, it is expected that both sides will take reasonable actions to arrange dates.

SS5. Note - Some players may have multiple home matches or away matches due to the nature of the draw. Round 1 - Players at the top of the draw will play at "Home" Round 2 - Players at the bottom of the draw will play at "Home" Round 3 - Players at the top of the draw will play at "Home"
