Additional Local Rules - TBC

The Surrey Hard Card is in effect, which should be read together with any additional local rules Rules official – on-course contact TBC Friday only – if you are unsure of a ruling and there isn’t a rules official nearby, you may use the “2-ball rule” as per rule 20.1c(3). In this case, you must a) announce to your fellow-competitor that you intend to play 2 balls and b) declare which you wish to count should the rules permit, c) play out the hole with both balls and record each score and d) report back to the committee before recording your score even if the score with both balls is the same.

This option is not available during the match play stages.
