Senior Friendly against Hampshire
The Senior Friendly team played their second match of the season in glorious summer conditions at Waterlooville on Monday, 20th May. The Surrey team of Trudi Proud, Pam Mace, Jan Gilkes, Kim Price, Kay Bowman, Lindsey Bennett, Belinda Pope and Sheila Fleming enjoyed both the course and clubhouse hospitality. Unfortunately, the result was a 3-1 loss.
A big thank you to Julie Cole, the Hampshire organiser, and Waterlooville for giving us courtesy of the course and providing refreshments, including a selection of delicious cakes. Belinda Pope and Sheila Fleming had to shoot off so missed both the photo and tea, no bad thing as it meant there was more cake for the rest of us!!
We look forward to getting our revenge against Hampshire next year!
