Roehampton win Pearson Trophy
Following on from their win at Tandridge on the 17th of June, Roehampton went onto represent Surrey in the Inter County Pearson Final hosted by Surrey at Hindhead on the 18th of July.
Roehampton won their first four Semi-Final matches against Middlesex’s Grim’s Dyke, with the remaining three being called in:
The Opposite Semi Final was closely fought with the Hertfordshire Club Hadley Wood just pipping Birchwood. 4 – 3.
A nail biting final between Hadley Wood and Roehampton took place in glorious sunshine.
With the matches poised at 3 all in the club house the final match was continuing down extra holes.
Roehampton’s Astrid Woloszczuk , managed to secure the win on hole 21.
