Junior Team take 2nd Place at Junior County Week

Congratulations to the Surrey Junior Team who came second at the South Region Junior County Week at Crews Hill, Middlesex.  A tough final match against Kent, which finished with a 4-3 victory to Surrey, made sure of second place.  The team also collected the Foursomes Stableford Trophy.  What a great few days! 

Thank you to team captain, Natalie Ivory, and also Junior Organiser Karen Francis, ably assisted by Pam Mace and Katie Lavender, for all their support and hard work.  Also Surrey Women's Golf President, Ann Gems.

We send congratulations to Hampshire who are the new South Region Junior County Champions, a fantastic win!  It is also a fitting finale for team captain Stevie Crozier-Hunt who flies to New Mexico to start her US college career tomorrow (Thursday, 15th August).  Also County President, Jane Scott, and County Captain, Sarah Deacon, who are in their final year of office. Well done, Hampshire!
