The second team retain Stovold trophy
The second team played Hampshire knowing they needed to win or halve the match to retain the Stovold trophy. In the morning foursomes they came out 2-1 on top. The sun was shining and there was some excellent golf in the afternoon with several tight matches but the Surrey team prevailed to win 7-2 overall. A fantastic team effort against all the counties in South Region. Well done team and thanks to West Surrey golf club for hosting us.
