Great performances over Easter
Congratulations to Surrey players who have done well over the Easter break. Ellie Monk, defending Helen Holm Champion, finished tied 10th in this year's tournament at Royal Troon. She and Elizabeth Wilson secured the Nation's Trophy for England.
In Paris, Maty Santilli finished 10th in the qualifying rounds of the French U21 Girls' International at Saint Cloud to qualify for the Esmond Trophy match play for the top 32 players. Maty won through to the round of 16 where sadly she lost to Liz Siyu Hao Zhang of Spain. Annabel and Emily Peaford qualified for the Claude-Roger Cartier Trophy match play and had to play each other! Annabel beat her sister on the 18th but lost in the quarter final to Natalia Aparicio of Italy.
