Congratulations to Annabel Peaford (Walton Heath) who has been selected for the England team competing at the World Amateur Team Championships for the Espirito Santo Trophy in Singapore (1-4 October 2025). Joining Annabel in the England team will be Nellie Ong and Patience Rhodes.
The World Amateur Team Championships is a biennial international amateur golf competition conducted by the International Golf Federation. The women play for the Espirito Santo Trophy while the men compete for the Eisenhower Trophy. The Championships consist of 72 holes of stroke play, with each team comprising 2-3 players. After each 18-hole round, the total of the two lowest scores from each team count as the team's score for that round. The Champion team is the one with the lowest total score for 72 holes.
2025 will mark the 31st edition of the Women’s World Amateur Team Championship, which was first played in 1964 in France.
