Worplesdon win the Centenary Plate
A hazy mist lifted to bright sunshine at Roehampton for the finals of the CentenaryPlate between West Hill and Worplesdon, both recent winners of the Centenary Bowl.
A warm welcome awaited us from immediate past Lady Capt Claire Martin and Jo Thesiger on day one of her captaincy, kindly sorting out car parking on a very busy day at Roehampton Club.
The matches were all played in good spirit with experienced caddies on the bag. Three matches went to the 18th and one down the 19th.
The final result was Worplesdon as winners of the Centenary Plate and West Hill as runners up. Many congratulations to both clubs
