Farnham member Lottie, who is just 21, was previously a Surrey Junior and First team player. She went to study at Florida State University during which time she won the prestigious Augusta National Women's Amateur and became World Amateur Golf Ranked No. 1. In July this year she won the Irish Open and then finished third at the Evian Championship, one of the year’s five majors, all while still an amateur. She then turned professional and won her first tournament, the Scottish Open. She went on to register a top-ten finish at the Women’s Open in August. She has had a truly amazing year and is very deserving of this award.
